Miranda Pennell - FILM & VIDEO Miranda Pennell is a London-based film maker whose work reflects on aspects of performance that can be found in the everyday world. Her films have explored a diverse range of subjects that include soldiers and a marching band, teenage ice-skaters, fight directors, amateur dancers and rock-drummers. Pennell's films and videos have received funding from the Arts Council of England, Film London, Channel 4, and the BBC. They have won numerous prizes, including from the Biennale of Moving Images (Geneva 2005), the Ann Arbour Film Festival (USA 2004), Cork International Film Festival (Ireland 2003).
